Croc is my first 3D platform game. I loved it as a child, but I knew full well it wasn’t “good”. I don’t know if I would want to do it again because I’m not sure if I would get much value out of it.
I had most of the game memorized in my head. Even weird secrets like stomping three times on the floating platform in the first stage of the first level to enter the bonus room for 1, or falling off the bottomless cliff near the gear in one of the ice levels to Find the bonus room. Or completely memorize the unfinished pattern of the extremely annoying sheep challenge. Aggh. I don’t know if I need to play this remake, lol, I probably have enough Croc to last me a lifetime.
On a similar note, Rollercoaster Tycoon was also a childhood favorite of mine. But unlike Croc, this is a game with infinite replayability, so it would be interesting to bring it to the Switch for its own sake, although I still have the original CD ROM somewhere in the house and You can easily run it on your computer. laptop right now if I feel like it…. I guess having it on the Switch would be a nice novelty. But it is not a priority of any kind.
