Vice President Harris Shares the Truth About Her Cooking Skills
A TikTok video featuring Vice President Kamala Harris discussing her greens recipe has gone viral on the internet. The exchange began when a supporter asked her about her method and she shared all the details at a political event.
In the video, Vice President Harris reminisces with the crowd about making greens for the annual Christmas Eve dinner, saying it takes such a big batch that she has to wash them in the bathtub.
“And I’m not going to lie to you and say I’m going to make so many greens that I have to wash them in the bathtub. I’m telling you the truth,” Harris says in the clip.
The attorney shared that she adds bacon to her greens, a tradition passed down from her grandmother. She also mentioned adding garlic and white vinegar.
However, the crowd was most surprised when she admitted to “cheating” by adding a little Tabasco sauce to the dish.
