Venice Film Festival red carpet

The 79th Venice Film Festival is now underway, and fashion is front and center. Filmmakers, actors, models and pop stars have taken to the streets of Venice to celebrate the best of international cinema. Among the attendees that caught our attention was the Gucci actress and muse Jodie Turner-Smith surfer on the red carpet in a lilac plain dress with a cropped Et Ochs cut. She enhanced her look with a layered necklace and a simple black clutch.

She then made a big impression at the “Bardo” premiere wearing a gown inspired by the abstract art of Christopher John Rogers. The dress in question is Look 33 from Rogers’ 009 Collection and was inspired by the art of the late abstract pioneer Sam Gilliam. Styled by Wayman & Micah, Jodie paired a colorful racerback gown with a vibrant diamond choker necklace and commendable teardrop earrings. The “Anne Boylen” star is quite the watcher this week. From a beautiful black string Gucci gown with satin neon green opera gloves and a pink lace dress, also by Gucci, with towering white lace boots, she is dominating red carpet after red carpet. Another memorable look she wore was a sheer red Versace dress paired with a Brandon Blackwood bag and contrasting blue chic heels by Kendall Miles.

Other stars in attendance included Tessa Thompson, who stole the show in a blue archival Armani Privé outfit, cate Blanchett, Hilary Clinton and Emma Chamberlin. The Venice Film Festival, billed as the oldest film festival in the world, will run until September 10. As more popular international films continue to debut, we are delighted to witness Many events appear on the red carpet.
