Via Knitting Ambrosio: Vasyl Lomachenko said he has begun preparing for a title showdown with undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney on May 20 on a Top-rated show on ESPN.

If the bout is over, Lomachenko will need to consider whether he wants to pursue WBA second-place lightweight champion Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis or give up 135 lb and return to 130.
Bob Arum wants to pit Lomachenko and Shakur Stevenson against each other if Haney chooses to give up his four belts to move up to 140. But unless there’s a title for that fight, it’s pointless for Lomachenko to fight Shakur because it will. nothing for him to gain.
With Tank Davis being with PBC and fighting on Showtime, it’s unlikely a fight between him and the top-ranked Lomachenko could happen.
