Usyk gives Anthony Joshua advice to become a champion again

Oleksandr Usyk has sent a message of support for his eventual opponent, Anthony Joshua, as the British tennis player is ready to return.

The pair shared the ring twice, 24 innings, and each time the decision was in Usyk’s favor. He currently holds the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles for his troubles.

As the Ukrainian advances to an undisputed historic bout with WBC belt holder Tyson Fury – Anthony Joshua is set to rally in the division to try to get back to the top.

Usyk, obviously quite fond of ‘AJ’, said Guard that the British boxer should not be disappointed about losing and think that the chance to win will return.

“Joshua shouldn’t be upset about losing to me. He just needs to keep working because he’s a very cool fighter and a good man. He will have a chance to be a world heavyweight champion again.”

Usyk has outdone Joshua on both occasions – once in the UK and once in Saudi Arabia – to prove his worth in the weight class he recently entered. Many felt that Joshua overestimated himself in the second fight, and the loss was more a result of the elite opposition than anything else.

To begin his journey back to the top, he faces Jermaine Franklin on April 1 in London. While the American tennis player had a good performance against Dillian Whyte last November (Whyte UD), fans expect ‘AJ’ to land a resounding victory if he wants to take on the big boys. top dog again.

For Usyk, arguably the biggest fight in the sport of boxing awaits. Promoter Frank Warren has said that his fourth title fight with Fury will take place on April 29, the location of which has yet to be announced.
