US special operators receive JLTV equipped with Israeli-made missiles

The Pentagon’s No. 1 weapons supplier, Lockheed Martin Corp, says it has successfully delivered the Israeli-made Spike-NLOS missile system aboard Oshkosh’s Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) to United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

This integration demonstrates the versatility of the Spike NLOS weapons system, a Lockheed Martin statement said.

“The combination of the Spike NLOS’s long-range and precision strike capabilities with the unsurpassed agility of JLTV Control,” said Jerry Brode, vice president of Close Combat Systems at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire. “The real-time video visualization of this advanced weapon system allows the operator to change or abort a mission while en route to the target, providing the user with more options at critical moments. .”
