Stock futures fluctuated, pointing to a calmer Monday of trading as investors took on recent signs that the Federal Reserve will have to take tougher action against more inflation than many had hoped for.
S&P 500 and Dow industrial index futures were mostly flat on Thursday, after swerving between gains and small losses. Tech-focused Nasdaq-100 futures fell 0.1%. Global markets recorded slight gains, with the Stoxx Europe 600 up 0.1% and Japan’s Nikkei 225 closing 0.2% higher.
