Techland announced that Update 1.3.0 will launch Dying Light 2 Stay Human this week, and it brings with it a fan requested feature, New Game Plus.
More specifically, this update will be titled zombie parkour this Wednesday, April 27. Not only will it bring New Game Plus to Dying Light 2, but it will also address many of the co-op issues and add more Brand new endgame content. Called New Game + Mode, it will be available to all players who have completed the base game and automatically includes new scaling, new difficulty options, bigger bonuses for completing missions and Moreover.
“In New Game+, players will retain their character’s progress on their original adventure, while enjoying a variety of new mode-specific rewards,” reads a press release. “Find 30 new, well-hidden Inhibitors and test every ability, to maximize Aiden’s health and stamina. Enemies now extend their challenge to Aiden’s level, but for those looking for a tougher skirmish, Techland is prepared for encounters with the golden mark.
“Those exceptional battles will fiercely test even the bravest Pilgrims with their unique enemies and unexpected behavior. And for the ultimate challenge, look for the quest ‘Something Big Has Been Here.’ New infections with new attacks await. ”
Techland says many new encounters in Dying Light 2 New Game+ will reward players with valuable items and greater rarity of “Legendary” weapons. Additionally, new Platinum medals for parkour challenges, with finish times based on community best results, have been added.
The press release reads: “A series of co-op-related bugs have been patched, along with several deadly loops. “And for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players, the new FOV slide allows for a change of perspective in the game.”
