British department store chain Selfridges has opened a virtual store in Decentraland, a 3D virtual social platform, as part of Metaverse Fashion Week, joining more than 70 brands, artists and designers in the creating a new experience ‘at the intersection of fashion and technology’. It showcases Paco Rabanne and Fondation Vasarely’s exclusive Universe NFTs.
Other brands such as DKNY, Privé Porter and Charles & Keith have also opened their virtual stores for virtual fashion week.
