United Nations – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will deliver dramatic remarks to world leaders on Wednesday, hours later Russia mobilizes hundreds of thousands of troops for its months-long assault on Ukraine.
Zelenskyy, who has not left his war-weary nation since the Russian invasion in late February, will speak to world leaders.
His pre-recorded remarks come as Russia’s war enters its eighth month with no clear indication that the Kremlin will give up its ambitions to erase Ukraine’s sovereignty.
In his speech, Zelenskyy is expected to urge countries like China, the world’s second-largest economy, to abandon their neutral stance. He will also call for more Western weapons and support.
