Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a convoy of Russian BMD light tracked armored personnel carriers with improvised explosive devices placed on a stretch of road.
The Ukrainian military said the attack was carried out by members of the 80th Mobile Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Force (DShV) in the eastern region of Donetsk Oblast.
“You are watching how the infantry fighting vehicles of the enemy airborne forces are handled over the sacred land of Ukraine,” the military said in a Facebook post.

Footage shows a convoy of BMD light crawler armored vehicles of the Russian airborne forces, VDV, winding along the road before one of the vehicles is destroyed with explosives.
Russia’s 45,000-strong VDV force, consisting mainly of professional contract soldiers of elite status, is assigned to the most demanding operations.
The Ukrainian military did not specify where or when the attack took place.
