The independent NGO says 25 surveillance drones, called Lelekas, will be handed over to Ukraine’s armed forces to help defend their country against Russian troops.

The Foundation has already delivered the first complexes to the military and by the end of the summer we expect to have all 50 aircraft and 25 ground stations. The total amount of the contract for the purchase of drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is 35 million UAH, or 1.2 million USD.
Leleka-100, also known as Ciconia, is a small unmanned aerial vehicle system designed and manufactured by Ukraine-based unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) company Deviro.
As noted by the company, the main advantage of the system is advanced inertial navigation, which allows working in harsh conditions and without GPS. The system can be equipped with electro-optical and infrared payloads. It provides continuous intelligence (day and night), surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), even in the most extreme conditions. The aircraft can be deployed from land and water platforms for both civilian and military operations.
Leleka-100 has realized the concept of automatic control in all flights, which makes the operator’s job much easier and allows to focus attention on the analysis of incoming information. from UAVs.
The company also notes that its drone system has great wind resistance parameters and can be used with wind speeds of up to 20 m/s. Flight radius 55 km (total distance 100km), endurance time 1.5 or 3.5 hours, with conditions: air temperature -200С to + 550С, wind speed 12 m/s.
