Ukraine shoots down Russian attack helicopter near Kharkiv
Ukrainian officials on Tuesday released images showing the wreckage of a Russian Mi-28 attack helicopter (NATO reporting name Havoc) downed in the Kharkiv region.
The Russian Mi-28 attack helicopter, with registration number RF-13654, is believed to have been destroyed near the town of Bobrovki, in the Kharkiv region.
This is the third loss of combat imagery of the Mi-28 type helicopter during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The Mil Mi-28 Havoc is a Russian two-seat all-weather, day-and-night anti-armor attack helicopter. It was an attack helicopter carrying a single gun in the barrel under the nose, plus the external payload was carried on pylons below the stub.
The Mi-28 has a fully armored cabin, including the windshield, which can withstand the impact of 7.62mm and 12.7mm bullets and 20mm shrapnel.
