MANILA, Philippines – Exceptions are made to the Ateneo Blue Eagle whenever Ange Kouame asserts his dominance in the ring.

The rampaging giants scored 17 points and 12 rebounds while Forthsky Padrigao buried three of the crucial straits and finished with 13 points, his effectiveness underrated compared to the rest of the Blue Eagles. .
“I am happy that we are leading 2-0, but there is still a lot of work to be done. There was an improvement in attack from our first game, but we had to defend better,” said Ateneo head coach Tab Baldwin.

Michael Malonzo leads the Bulldogs with 13 points and Jhon Lloyd Clemente has nine more in his first loss of the season after his season-opening win over UE Warriors.
