Via Jim Calfa: Tyson Fury will stop Dillian Whyte this Saturday night from predicting Tim Bradley for their fight at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
Bradley said that WBC heavyweight champion Fury took a lot of tools in his arsenal for Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) to deal with and he felt like he was going to KO him with his right hand or top lane. at some point.
With that said. Bradley believes Whyte has the potential for Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) if he can get to him early.
Bradley noticed in his final press conference on Wednesday that Fury had treated Whyte very well, showing him respect and trying to reassure him.
The idea behind Fury’s good treatment of Whyte is to keep him out of the field on Saturday, trying to head off with one of his powerful left hooks.
If you’re Whyte, you need to adjust to what Fury is trying to do because he’s the same way with Deontay Wilder before their fight.
“I see respect for each other, and I see history. Even if I didn’t know they had a past, I still see it in their eyes,” Tim Bradley told Fight Hub TV about today’s final press conference between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte.
“I think both of them know what they are up against. They understand what they are up against. Tyson Fury understands that Dillian Whyte wants what he has, and he has trained his body and mind to prepare for it. The same goes for Dillian Whyte. The exact same thing.
“So dear, calm before the storm, on Saturday night we’re going to have a hell of a fight. I did, I really did,” Bradley said when asked if he thought today’s Fury vs Whyte final press conference would be a little more chaotic.
“I thought Fury was going to dig into Whyte, but I think it was a mental game with Fury, to be honest with you. Many people say that Dillian Whyte avoids everything because he wants to try and affect the spirit of Tyson Fury.
“The fact that Fury has come in with so much respect and shown him so much support, respect and love, I think he’s trying to appease Dillian Whyte. He doesn’t want him to rush out and swing wildly. I think he’s trying to be his brother-in-law.
“I think it’s a mental game for Tyson Fury. Yeah, I think so without a doubt,” Bradley said when asked if Fury would beat Dillian. “He just needs to be careful. If he pays homage to his defense after he punches, he’ll be fine.
“I think Fury is a better fighter in every way. Dillian is a really good fighter, but I think Fury is bigger, longer, smarter, and has more tools in his arsenal.
“I will go with Tyson Fury. Yeah, right hand or uppercut,” Bradley said when asked if Fury would stop Whyte.
