Tyson Fury Says Jack Catterall’s Life and Career Was “DISTED” By Controversial Loss To Josh Taylor

Via Barry Holbrook: Tyson Fury believes the assessment is “HateFor the recent Josh Taylor vs Jack Catterall match on February 26 at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.

Fury thinks Catterall (26-1, 13 KOs) should have been awarded, and he’s not sure what the two judges were thinking when they judged the contest to be in the hands of undisputed lightweight champion Taylor. with scores of 114-111 and 113-112.

The third referee had 113-112 for Catterall, but he lost the game by deciding to split 12 rounds. Athlete Eddie Hearn says Catterall’s defeat cost him millions, as he will make big money as a 140-lb four-belt champion.

Hearn said that instead of Catterall received millions for the next fight, he could get a few hundred thousand if he fights for one of Taylor’s soon-to-be-vacated 140 lb titles.

Catterall would have made a life-changing money if the judges had given him a win over Taylor. Unfortunately, Taylor will likely never get another chance like this to fight for the undisputed championship.

The result of the match between Taylor vs. Catterall won’t be turned upside down and Josh has made it clear that there will be NO rematch as he’s moving up to 140. Taylor believes he deserves the win, so there’s no reason for him to take a career. his back to give Catterall a rematch.

Fury: The evaluation is a disgrace

“I think judging these days is a disgrace, and they need a good kick in that fight, but it’s not the boxers’ fault,” Tyson Fury said. Sports boxing BT about Josh Taylor’s controversial win over Jack Catterall.

“The boxers don’t make any decisions, but the assessment is ridiculous. I’ve seen it happen with Miguel Vazquez and Lewis Ritson. It was a total joke, and the other night was horrible.

“The referees, I don’t even know if they’re watching boxing or they’re just going with someone they think is going to win — ruining the sport. So that’s why we won’t have any British judges on this Wembley show, not a judge because they’re not qualified.

“They continue to make people’s lives and careers terrible. Jack Catterall, he’s been playing professionally for a long time and has been boxing all his life. He trained his bravery for this fight and gave everything.

“He’s unbelievably boxed, the best thing I’ve ever seen – it’s a game plan for Jamie Moore and the team; Congratulations to you. Jack, the performance is unbelievable, and to NOT get the decision, it’s got me wondering. Do I really want my kids to box up and go through all this heartbreak?

“Josh Taylor did the best he could on the night, and he looks flat, he looks thin. He might be like that, but it’s not Jack Catterall’s fault,” Fury said.

“I don’t think it’s Josh Taylor’s fault; Carl Frampton said.

Davison says Taylor needs a knockout

“We can’t really do much, but these judges, they need to check their heads,” Fury said. “I don’t know how you score in the game.”

Frampton said: “I gave it to Catterall for four rounds.

“You give him an 8-4,” Fury said. “There’s no need for me to sit on the fence and say, ‘No respect for both fighters because I know both anyway.’ By the eighth round, I had beaten Jack Catterall nine rounds with a knockdown.

I didn’t give him a round in the first eight rounds, and that’s me being honest. In my opinion, he needs a knockout to win the match in the twelfth round.

“I think Ben [Davison] told him in the twelfth round, “You need a knockout.” I think he said, ‘Stop,’ and that was it. To be fair, I don’t know what the referees watched. It’s not even a close fight in my opinion, but what do I know? I’m just the heavyweight champion of the world. I don’t know anything,” Fury said.

Davison says Taylor needs a knockout, which shows that he knows he’s in a hopeless position in the championship rounds.

Catterall looks like he’s on his way to a clear decisive victory, which is why it’s so troubling when he ends up losing. Sadly, Catterall won’t get a second chance. How could the judges be so wrong?

Catterall’s career was ruined

“They can’t change their mind now, and they completely destroyed Jack Catterall’s life and career, and that’s it. The others [Taylor] Had a bad night. Whatever his problem is great. It’s not Jack Catterall’s fault,” Fury said.

“I think that’s the problem with the assessment. They don’t think about this rationally. How did this affect Jack Catterall’s later life? They don’t think about it,” Frampton said.

“It’s a shame, to be fair, it’s not the first time,” Fury said. “It’s not just Jack Catterall who is a victim of this. It has happened quite a few times in recent times.

“There are many and many wars that they don’t understand. No respect for Josh Taylor, he’s a good boxer, but it wasn’t his night,” Fury said.
