Tyron Woodley reveals KSI fight contract with rehydration clause
Tyron Woodley is looking to further his career in cross-influence boxing by aiming for a fight with British superstar KSI – but he’s unhappy with some terms in his contract.
After retiring after a successful championship campaign in the UFC, Woodley came to boxing by facing (and losing) Jake Paul, twice.
The Missouri man wanted to continue his efforts in the sport and was looking for a chance to strike Paul’s rival, KSI, who had been passionate about the sport for years and seemed to be taking it seriously. complete with this subject – at least in these interchange programs.
Clearly unhappy with the match’s failure to play as well as certain conditions, Woodley shared a contract – which has not been confirmed as official from KSI or the advertising agency – which reads as follows: the ‘weight’ part:
“The maximum weight is 175lbs at the official weigh-in the day before the Match (“Official Weight”) and will be a maximum of 185lbs on the afternoon of the match day. Advertisers will do their best to ensure that the local commission manages this second weight. If a Boxer is overweight in both weight classes, the Advertiser will have the option to terminate the Agreement and cancel the Match.”
Warned this bitch!@ksi Why are you suggesting I fight you then bail? Why would you send me a contract to cheat and take an inferior competitor? Why did you mention my name for two years without stepping up? Why a poll of 1 million people, all say go against me, and you run away. pic.twitter.com/0zDpS7j0qw

While rehydration provisions are not uncommon in the sport, many fans want to see the back of them. To balance, Woodley fought his mixed martial arts career at the welder weight limit of 170 lb and weighed in two professional boxing matches at 189 lb and 185 lb.
In response, his potential opponent did not specifically mention the weight, instead the idea of fighting.
You haven’t won a fight since 2018 bro. When you finally win, then I will fight you. Agree?
