The teen wolf crew – Including Allison — are returning to Beacon Hills to fight evil again, but they will do it without by Dylan O’Brien Stiles Stilinski. The actor did not reprise his fan-favorite role in Optimal Movie +premieres on January 26. Tyler Posey spoke to reporters, including hollywood lifeabout Dylan’s absence from the film.
“It’s complicated because for me, Tyler Posey, I miss him every day while filming and only in my day-to-day life when we’re not hanging out together,” Tyler said during the film’s press conference. “We really grew up together on this show and every memory I have on this show is somehow tied to him and connected to him. But in Scott’s world, they weren’t separate. They still text constantly and see each other whenever possible. So Scott’s dynamic doesn’t really change too much.”
He continued, “I think for me as an actor, more weight is put on my shoulders, which I like to shoulder. I love bearing that weight and I want that challenge. I want to be successful, and I want people to see that I can still maintain the dynamic of Scott and Stiles but only with one role. We do our best to pay tribute to Stiles, and he’s still there as much as we can without us actually seeing him.”
Tyler admits that he thinks the movie is set a few years later teen wolf last part, dealing with Stiles’ failure to return to Beacon Hills “perfectly”. The actor said, “In a perfect world, we would all meet again and have a big reunion, but I think we did it in the best way possible.
When the actors return for Teen Werewolf: The Movie announced in February 2022, Dylan is one of the notable names of the non-returners. you later explain why he can’t to return as Stiles one last time.
“It was a difficult decision. A lot of things went into it,” said Dylan Diversity. “The show couldn’t be closer to me. That was the first thing I ever did. I and a lot of people there love me very much. That’s what I’m trying to do, but it’s all happening very quickly. We didn’t really know that it was happening and they just threw it at us a little, which was okay because we all loved the show. We tried to figure it out.
