Two people have been charged with killing a one-year-old child during the lockdown.
Jack Benham, 34, and Sian Hedges, 26, were charged with the murder of the boy on November 28, 2020 in the village of Hernhill, near Faversham, Kent.
Benham, from Hernhill, and Hedges, from Yelverton in Devon, were also charged with causing or allowing the death of a child.
Kent Police said their patrol and the South East Coast Ambulance Service arrived at a village home following concerns about the welfare of a one-year-old boy.
The child was taken to the hospital for medical care and later declared dead.
The couple were arrested and released on bail while investigations continue.
They were charged on Monday.
They appeared at Folkstone Magistrates Court and were remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday.
