Four boys who died after falling into a frozen lake in Solihull have been identified by police.
Brothers Samuel Butler, six, and Finlay Butler, eight; Cousins Thomas Stewart, 11, and Jack Johnson, 10, have been identified by West Midlands Police.
Three boys Jack, Thomas and Finlay died Sunday after falling into Babbs Mill Lake.
Samuel was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but passed away yesterday.
In a statement, released through West Midlands Police today, Thomas’ parents Finlay and Sam, said: “As a family, we are deeply saddened by the passing of their boys. beautiful Tom, Fin and Sam in such tragic circumstances.

“We want to thank the emergency services for all they did in rescuing the boys and thank the community for their support, it’s been amazing.
“We offer our condolences to Jack’s family at this extremely sad time, and ask for privacy to prevent the media from starting to grieve.”
Thomas’s brother pays tribute to him and his cousin.
He wrote: “Thomas is such a vibrant little soul, he has such a big heart for a child and he is so beautiful. He loves to go out and play with his friends.
“I love you Tom, big brother will take care of the family and I will see you soon.
“Can’t forget my dinosaur man Fin, he loves dinosaurs so much and always shows me the new stuff he builds on Minecraft and all the new stuff he learns on it. I I’ll miss you so much.”
Extensive underwater searches have been carried out and are now over.
Supt Rich Harris said: “This is an indescribable tragedy and unimaginable pain to the boys’ families and friends.
“The support from the community is huge, not only for bereaved families but also for emergency services for which we are so grateful.
“Our officers will remain in the area for the coming days. Please come and talk to us if you need to.”
