Twitter has begun rolling out the ‘Blue’ service, which includes verification cards, in India, according to the report. The service costs $8 in the US, will likely be more expensive in India, and will cost Rs 719 a month.

Several users in India tweeted today that they received a prompt asking them to sign up for Twitter Blue. The update is currently only available on iPhones, though. The service is expected to be available to all in the coming days.

The NDTV team has yet to receive any reminders about Twitter Blue’s pricing and sign-up process.
