Twitter plans to change the price of its Twitter Blue subscription product to $7 (approximately Rs 600) from $7.99 (about Rs 700) if the user pays through the website and $11 (approximately Rs. Rs 900) if it does so through its iPhone app, The Information reported on Wednesday, citing a person who informed about the plans.
This move could be a pushback to the 30 percent cut that Apple receive revenue from applications on its operating system, report said, with a lower price for the site is likely to attract more users to that platform instead of signing up on their site Iphone.
It does not mention that the price will change for Android background is good.
Last week, Musk accused Apple threatens to block Twitter from its App Store without saying why in a series of tweets that also said it had stopped advertising on the social media platform.
