Twins place LHP Caleb Thielbar back on 15-day IL
The Minnesota Twins put left-hander Caleb Thielbar on Friday’s 15-day injury list with a right oblique strain
The move is made effective again on Tuesday, two days after he was rehabilitated from IL 15 days following a similar injury break. He allowed a hit and threw 10 throws in a third of the inning Sunday in relief against the Cleveland Guardians.
In 12 appearances this season, Thielbar, 36, is leading 1-0 with an ERA of 1.74, two dribbles and 10 strikes.
Also on Friday, twin right-handers recall Josh Winder from Triple-A St. Paul
Winder, 26, allowed two runs with three hits in two-thirds of the inning in his lone appearance for the tournament twin this season on April 30 with Kanas City Royals
He recently appeared in nine games for the Saints between May 7 and June 3, recording a 2-1 record with two saves and a 6.60 ERA.
