President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sang as he announced victory in his country’s elections.
His secular opponent, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, said the election was not fair without explicitly conceding defeat.
However, the Supreme Electoral Council of Türkiye (YSK) later confirmed that Mr. Erdogan had won the election.
