Turfway Park remains open for year-round training


After the Winter/Spring Encounter at Turfway Park concludes on April 1, the warehouse and track areas will remain open for year-round training and stabilization, it announced Tuesday.

Instructors who wish to fill out an accessible booth registration form www.TurfwayPark.com or contact Peggy Pate at [email protected]. Booth applications are due on March 24.

This year, Turfway Park completed the construction of a new dormitory for manual workers and five new warehouses. The track can stabilize about 1,000 horses.

Local coaches expected to settle in at Turfway Park and race on the Kentucky track include Jeff Greenhill, Will Walden And Ethan West. They will join the mainstay of Kentucky Steve Asmussen, Brad Cox And manufacturer mike all who are expected to keep a herd of horses at the stables in Northern Kentucky.
