Based on Related PressVice President Kamala Harris told a loud, boisterous and packed Atlanta arena that the next 98 days would be a fight, but they would win in November. She also mocked Donald Trump for being hesitant about whether he would appear in their upcoming debate.
“The dynamics in this race are changing,” the likely Democratic nominee said. “And there are signs that Donald Trump is sensing it.”
Trump had previously said he would debate Harris, but now asking questions The value of a meeting and said he “may” debate her, but he “could also make reasons not to.” Additionally, Donald Trump suggested that the September 10 debate on ABC News should be moved to another network, calling ABC “fake news.”
“So he won’t debate me, but he and his running mate have a lot to say about me. And by the way, don’t you think some of their stuff is just weird.” She added, “Okay Donald… I hope you reconsider. See me on the debate stage… because, as the saying goes, if you’ve got something to say, say it to my face.”

Vice President Harris Discusses What’s Next in Her White House Run
To be clear, Harris has not yet officially clinched the Democratic nomination. However, the Democratic National Committee announced on Tuesday that she is the only candidate who has met the qualifications to run. This means she will almost certainly win the nomination on Monday (August 5) when the party concludes its online roll call voting.
Her running mate is also expected early next week, at which point Harris plans to embark on a seven-stop tour of battleground states to hold rallies alongside her vice presidential nominee.
Harris begins Tuesday with her days as a prosecutor — setting up a contrast between law and Trump’s many legal problems and misconduct. But she also aggressively defended the Biden administration’s record and said she would work to pass voting rights legislation and restore abortion rights that were stripped away after Roe v. Wade.
“America has tried these failed policies before. And we will not go back. We will not go back,” Harris said, shaking her head no as the crowd chanted “we will not go back.”

Special Guests at the Atlanta Rally Include Megan Thee Stallion & Quavo
On Tuesday, the roughly 8,000-capacity basketball arena at Georgia State University was packed to the brim with sign-waving voters, dancing to Beyoncé’s Harris campaign anthem ‘Freedom’ and a performance by Megan Thee Stallion.
Quavo stepped up to the mic and strongly supported the Vice President, citing his previous work with her on gun violence. He noted that the politician has always “worked for the job.”
“So if you’ve never voted before, make sure you get out there now because this is the real vote. And in the words of my brother Takeoff, let me have a ‘Kamala,'” Quavo said.

This week marks the second full week of Harris’ campaign since her first announced her intentions replace President Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee in the race for the White House. Biden resigned on July 21 and soon after endorsed his Vice President. She has kept First official protest in Wisconsin last week and raised $200 million in the first week of campaigning.
