Troy Williamson ‘confident’ beats Josh Kelly

British superweight champion Troy Williamson claimed Josh Kelly wouldn’t be able to live with him if the pair fought.

The Lonsdale belt holder, promoted by Probellum, was nominated to defend his title against Kelly by the British Boxing Control Board. The wallet purchase price will be submitted next Wednesday for the Northeast derby.

Williamson visited Newcastle last weekend to take part in Kelly’s game against Lucas Brian Bastida. However, the 30-year-old man was not impressed with what he saw and tell Probellum.com why in a recent interview.

“I spent most of the fight on my phone, looking over and over again, because it was the same for 10 rounds.”

“I expected better from Josh. But no matter what, I’m confident I bet Josh Kelly and beat him brilliantly.”

Kelly, whose bout is now broadcast live on Channel 5 under the banner Wasserman Boxingbeat Bastida on points to take two wins from two wins since joining his new advertising partner.

During the week of fighting The 28-year-old from Sunderland said the Williamson clash was the one he wanted.
