Khloe kardashian throw her daughter, True Thompsonan elaborate fourth birthday party in April, and it was featured on the November 3 episode of The Kardashians. “I can’t believe True is turning 4,” Khloe choked. “I was given the responsibility of raising her and I take that role very seriously. I have the opportunity to transform her into an amazing young woman and I will not take it lightly. I will do the best job I can.”
True’s father, Tristan Thompson, wasn’t able to throw the birthday party because he had a basketball game, but Khloe revealed that he got his toddler a diamond necklace for the occasion. The party comes more than 4 months after Khloe discovered Tristan had cheated on her and fathered another child, and things are still tense between the two. “I don’t know if Tristan would be here today or if that would add to my stress,” she admitted. “We do really good co-parentbut I haven’t seen Tristan in person since before Christmas. “
When Khloe’s mother, Kris Jenner, to the party, she has some news for Khloe regarding Tristan. “I don’t know if I should tell you this, but Tristan called me and said he’d gone alone and took care of the whole party.” Khloe didn’t have it. “No, he doesn’t take care of the whole party.” Kris points out that Tristan did and says that Tristan is “delighted” to be able to do the same for her daughter.
“Well, I’m so glad I can do it all on my own!” Khloe replied. “That’s great, but I’m not going to let him do it.” In a confessional, she added, “I really work hard to do complicated things for True and I don’t need anyone’s help.” The scene ends there, so it’s unclear if Khloe ever discussed the situation with Tristan afterwards.
Although Khloe and Tristan broke up after the affair scandal, they welcomed their second child together in July. The babies were born through a surrogate, and their embryos were implanted before Thanksgiving… just days before Tristan’s paternity lawsuit went public and Khloe found out.
