Saha was sworn in as the chief minister of Tripura on March 8. His swearing-in ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Modi, Nadda and the interior minister. Minister Meghalaya Conrad K. Sangma along with Deputy Minister Prestone Tynsong and Minister Nagaland Neiphiu Rio along with Deputy Minister Y. Patton met with the President.
