Former ‘Boy Meets World’ actor Trina McGee has revealed that she suffered a miscarriage after announcing her pregnancy in June.

Trina McGee reveals her miscarriage
McGee appeared on a recent episode of ‘The Tamron Hall Show.’ Additionally, a clip was shared on YouTube. The video shows McGee revealing an important update about her recent pregnancy.
“I lost the baby,” McGee told Hall. “I didn’t expect it to happen — it was near the end of the first trimester. [and] we really have no real reason why [it happened]“ .
The 55-year-old explained that despite the outcome, she was “very grateful” to have been able to conceive at the age of 54. However, she still faces depression from recent events.
“[It’s been] a lot of depression afterwards. You know, it’s hard to get out of bed and, you know, there’s a lot of stuff that goes on when you really want to have a family, and you want your family to be complete.”
Ultimately, McGee explained that it was “very difficult” for her to “face the fact” that her wishes might not come true at this point.
Actress frankly shares about her dream of expanding her family
When recalling when she first announced her pregnancy on June 4, McGee explained that she was “so excited.” The actress explained that she “really loves” her husband of 16 years, Marcello Thedford, and wanted to welcome her first child with him. McGee, of course, has three adult children with her ex-husband, Courtland Davis.

“We’ve been together for sixteen years — we’ve known each other for thirty years…. and… when we first got married, we were really busy building our lives together. So we didn’t pay much attention to it.”
McGee explained that after about five years of marriage, she and Thedford decided to focus on expanding their family.
“I wanted to have that experience with my current husband and learn more at this age — you know, when you raise a child at a young age, you miss out on some things, and I wanted to have that opportunity to really impart to my child all the knowledge that I have and come out of this amazing human being… with what my mind can bring.”

EQUAL Shade room As previously reported, McGee revealed her pregnancy through a video posted and shared on Instagram on June 4.
“At 54, I have found myself pregnant. Please bless us with prayers for a safe delivery. Thank you,” McGee wrote in part at the time.
That same day, Entertainment tonight released an exclusive video interview with McGee, in which she responded to the negative comments she received after sharing this milestone at age 54, according to Shade room.
“I saw some comments about, um, ‘She’s too old’… and I think I read about three of those comments, and I was like, ‘Don’t read that’… I don’t engage in any of the negativity that anybody says about it. I’m happy. I’ve been blessed, and that’s it,” she said at the time.
Furthermore, when speaking with Hall, McGee explained that she believed her purpose might be to share an important highlight of her experience with the world.
“Along with the criticism, I realized that there are a lot of women — even 55 and older — who still want to get pregnant… and I don’t know if I’m here to give advice to everyone… but I know that I was extra careful, I wanted it… and I really believe that stress relief… is a really important issue.”
