Way! Celebrity arrests are taking place this week, from Justin Timberlake for Remy Ma’s 23-year-old son. Rapper Travis Scott is the latest person to have a run-in with the law after Miami-Dade County police jailed him on Thursday (June 20).
This is what happened to Travis Scott in Miami
Based on NBC, the 33-year-old rapper was accused of being drunk and disorderly. Police records say Travis yelled at people while on a cruise in Miami Beach, according to a witness who called police. Additionally, records show that Scott trespassed on the property after being warned.
Police are believed to have booked him into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at around 4:30 a.m. local time. He was said to have had a “strong odor of alcohol” on his “breath” when police arrived at the scene.
Travis Scott is said to have agreed to leave the yacht. However, while walking on the dock, he “walking backwards and cursing at the people on the train” until he left the marina.
About five minutes later, he started walking back to the yacht. While talking to the sergeant earlier, he became “erratic,” which disturbed the peace at the marina and nearby residential buildings. Police arrested him around 1:17 a.m. and Scott admitted to drinking.
Scott has since posted a $650 bail, according to NBC News, and his release is expected soon.

This arrest occurred nearly a month after social networks speculated that he and Tyga were shaking hands at the Cannes Film Festival. Tyga continued to dispute the claims with a fresh-faced selfie video, but Travis Scott never spoke out about the allegations.
Other reports, especially TMZhas since claimed that the argument occurred between members of each rapper’s team, but again, confirmation from their side has never been known to the public.
Instead, the outlet reported that Cher’s current man and Amber Rose’s ex, Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, and Yung Miami’s daughter’s father, Southside, are all involved.

Meanwhile, as mentioned above, Justin Timberlake was also charged with the same crime as Travis Scott. Sag Harbor officials charged the ‘Mirrors’ singer with one count of driving while intoxicated (DWI) and cited him for running a stop sign and failing to maintain his lane.
He is scheduled to return to court on July 26, although his attorney told TMZ they plan to “vigorously” fight the “charges.” “He will have much to say at the appropriate time,”attorney Edward Burke Jr. told TMZ amid his client’s public silence.
