The Albie Awards are organized by the Clooney Foundation For Justice, which organizes the award to honor ‘brave defenders of justice who are taking great risks for what they do’.
They are named for Justice Albie Sachs, a prominent South African jurist who was sentenced to prison and later exiled for working against the apartheid regime.
Thursday’s guest list included Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber, who made a storm with George and Amal about snapping bugs.
