Toyota Innova Hycross MPV or Mahindra XUV700 SUV: better highway car – Ask Autocar Anything
Due to its popularity, the XUV700’s delivery times are long, but the Innova Hycross has also begun to collect pre-orders.

I recently sold my Ford Endeavor 2.2 and I am looking for a replacement in the price bracket of 30 lakh-33 lakh (on the road) Rs. We are a family of six, and this car will be used primarily for highway driving. I ordered Mahindra XUV700 D AT but no sign of delivery, should I switch to Toyota Innova Hycross? Space, comfort and fuel economy are top priorities.

Autocar India says: Toyota Innova Hycross is the car for you. It meets all the requirements – it is very spacious, the seats are extremely comfortable, and as a hybrid, it has good fuel efficiency, better than your AT XUV700 or Ford Endeavor diesel. At least initially, you can miss the powerful mid-range traction of the diesel in the Hycross hybrid, but the hybrid’s characteristics are very different. The petrol engine, combined with the electric assist, works very quickly and it should make quick overtaking on the highway a breeze, so the performance is more than enough. Pre-orders for the Innova Hycross are already open and deliveries are likely to begin in mid-January 2023, so we recommend lining up as dealers have reported long wait times.
