Thousands of people protested against mass tourism in Barcelona.
Footage filmed in the Spanish city at the weekend showed diners in popular tourist areas being sprayed with water and crowds of protesters chanting “tourists go home”.
The mayor of Barcelona recently pledged to abolish short-term city breaks within five years.
