Tata Motors’ successful operation continues thanks to the popularity of Nexon. The compact SUV reached new heights when it became the second best-selling model in India last month. Tata Motors sold 15,871 SUVs, up from 13,767 units sold in October and 9,831 units sold last November with a growth of more than 60% year-on-year.

After peaking in October when it topped the sales charts, the new-generation Alto dropped to third place in November. Maruti Suzuki sold 15,663 units last month, down sharply from 21,260 units sold. sold during the festive season. In November last year, Maruti Suzuki sold 13,812 units of the old generation Alto.

The Punch continues to push its weight as Tata’s smallest SUV establishes itself as one of the best-selling cars in India. In November, Tata sold 12,131 Punch SUVs, up from 10,982 units sold in October. This is a sales increase of nearly 100% compared to November last year when Tata sold 6,110 units of rival Citroen C3.

Maruti Brezza

The Brezza remains a strong favorite among those looking to buy compact SUVs in India. The new generation SUV launched earlier this year ended November at 10th place on the list. Maruti Suzuki delivered 11,324 SUVs last month, slightly higher than the 9,941 units sold in October.
