Tony Bellew hits back at Eubank calling him Liverpool’s ‘biggest *** hole’
During his tumultuous press conference with Liam Smith, Chris Eubank Jr took the opportunity to criticize another boxer who was not attending or even still competing – Tony Bellew.
Domestic conflict what many experts are saying is a 50/50 fight has been spiced up with bad blood, with both men clearly showing their dislike for each other. While Smith stuck with the more standard insults, Eubank got creative.
On his most recent visit to the city of Liverpool after placing a billboard to remind residents of a tight football competition, the Brighton-born boxer called Smith ‘the biggest *** hole’ ‘ of the city, and name the person he previously thought held that title.
“I used to think Tony Bellew was the worst when he left Liverpool, but now it’s Liam Smith.”
Bellew was aware of the comments and had a few word choices for Eubank in response.
“He’s right, I’m Liverpool’s worst asshole BUT I’m the asshole who’s won more than he’s ever done. He also needs to return the flamboyant belt he paraded around back in the arcades at Brighton Pier, where he won it.

This isn’t the first time Bellew has been mentioned in battle commercials, with Promoter Ben Shalom has previously said that Eubank-Smith matchmaking reminds him of Bellew and his domestic rival, David Haye.
Like Haye and Bellew, the tension at the press conference boiled over and forced Sky Sports to apologize for Smith’s inappropriate comments.
It is clear that the fighters are ready to attack each other, and all that stands in the way now is a possible heated duel. The main event will take place the following Saturday night a packed card featuring both Joseph Parker and Richard Riakporhe.
