Fury’s final bout saw him beat Daniel Bocianski on points. Illness, injury and legal travel restrictions has so far prevented the showdown with Jake Paul from happening, even though it’s getting very close.
Paul, who recently went to war with Hasim Rahman Jr over a weight dispute, is looking to build a career that has yet to see him fight a professional boxer with a record. Tommy, the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, seems to have the hype and experience to take on that role.
As Fury mentioned, Amanda Serrano traveled to the UK to fight on the upcoming Queensbury card can mean progress. Serrano, the current featherweight champion, is curated and promoted by Paul’s apparel, The Most Valuable Promotion.
