Looks like it’s officially an ending for brave cat and Gisele Bündchen after 13 years of marriage.
News of their divorce was officially announced early Friday when TMZ reports that Gisele filed for divorce Friday morning in Florida and that Tom has no objection to the divorce.
In the first day of this month, report It emerged that the couple had now employed a divorce attorney as they continued to run into problems in their marriage. The website reports that they were able to reach an agreement on property and custody, and settlement documents have also been filed, but those documents will be kept confidential.
Immediately after the news was announced, both Tom and Gisele released a statement on social networks sharing that they were able to finalize the divorce proceedings. In his statement, Tom said,
“We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always make sure they get the love and care they deserve.”
Gisele also said in her statement,
“Deciding to end a marriage is never easy but we’ve been apart and of course it’s tough going through things like this, I feel lucky for the time we spent together. have each other and just always wish Tom the best.”
Tom and Gisele got married in 2009, and they have two children together, Benjamin and Vivian.
News of their marriage troubles began to emerge after Tom decided not to give up the NFL. As previously reported, Tom officially announced his retirement in February. However, in March, he changed his mind and announced that he’s not retiring anymore and that he’ll be returning to the NFL for his 23rd season.
Earlier this month, Tom made it clear that he has no plans to retire anytime soon.
