OH! This is one of the difficult ones. Not only do three of the words have a repeating letter (A in AMAZE and MANGA and O in BOOZY) but also two Zs. MANGA is also a rather difficult word to find in general, while BOOZY is quite colloquial. I did it with a random guess, but there was a time when I was pretty nervous about my achievement.

Quorderle FAQ: Everything you need to know
What is Quodle?
While Wordle challenges you to guess a new five-letter word every day, Qordle gives you four puzzles to solve. And instead of completing them one after another, you do so simultaneously. You have nine guesses, instead of six for Wordle, but the rules are very similar.
It is played online via quad site (opens in a new tab) and you can also access it through Website Merriam-Webster (opens in a new tab)Later dictionary bought Quordle last year.
As with Wordle, the answer is the same for every player every day, meaning you’re competing with the rest of the world. And as with Wordle, the puzzle resets at midnight so you have a new challenge every day.
The site also includes a practice mode – which I definitely recommend using before trying out the game! – and has daily stats including streak count. You also get Quordle Achievements – specific badges for winning the game for a certain number of turns, playing multiple times, or guessing particularly difficult words.
Oh, and it’s hard. Really difficult.
What are the Quoorderle rules?
Quordle’s rules are almost identical to Wordle’s rules.
first. The letters in the answer and in the correct position will turn green.
2. The letters in the answer but in the wrong place will turn yellow.
3. The letters not in the answer are grayed out…
4. …BUT the word you guessed appears in all quadrants of the puzzle at the same time, so the letter A might turn green in one square, yellow in the other, and gray in the last two. .
5. The answer is never plural.
6. Letters can appear more than once. So, if your prediction includes two of a letter, both of those letters may turn yellow, both may turn green, or one may turn yellow and the other may turn green. green.
7. Each guess must be a valid word in the Quordle dictionary. For example, you cannot guess ABCDE.
8. You don’t have to include the correct letters on subsequent guesses, and there is no Hard mode equivalent to Wordle.
9. You have nine guesses to find the answer to the Quordle.
ten. You must complete the daily Quordle by midnight in your time zone.
What is a good Quordle strategy?
Quordle needs to be approached differently from Wordle. With four puzzles to solve in nine guesses, you can’t just throw letters at it blindly and expect to win – you stand a much better chance if you think strategically.
Of course, that’s also the case with Wordle, but that’s even more important in Qorderle.
There are two important things to remember.
1. Use some starting words
First, you won’t want just a starting word, but almost certainly two or three starting word.
The first of these should probably be one of these Best Wordle Words, because the same things that make them work well apply here as well. But then you should choose another word or maybe two words that use the most common consonants and include any remaining vowels.
For example, I’m currently using STARE > DOILY > PUNCH. Between them, these three words use 15 of the 26 letters of the alphabet including all five vowels, Y, and the nine most common consonants (S, T, R, D, L, P, N, C). and H). There are plenty of other options – you might want to have M, B, F or G there instead of H, maybe – but something like that should do the trick.
If all goes well, that should help you understand what one or sometimes two of the possible answers are. If not, good luck!
2. Narrow everything down
Second, if you are faced with a word whose answer could easily be one of many choices – for example -ATCH, where it could be MATCH, BATCH, LATCH, CATCH, WATCH, HATCH or PATCH – you’ll definitely want to guess a word that will narrow those options down.
In Wordle, you could instead try several of them in a row and hope one of them is correct, assuming you have enough guesses left. It’s risky, but will work sometimes. Also, that’s the only option in Hard mode. But in Quordle, this will almost certainly lead to failure – you simply don’t have enough predictions.
In the above scenario, CLAMP would be a great predictor, as it can figure out four out of seven words in one go.
