Carl Hamilton, president of The Jockey Club Information Systems (TJCIS) since 1994, has retired as of December 31, 2022. Hamilton will continue to serve as president of the company. BloodHorse and will continue to represent the Jockey Club on numerous national and international committees related to the International Federation of Horse Racing Agencies (IFHA) and the International Thoroughbred Auction Association (SITA). . Matt Iuliano will be nominated as president of TJCIS and will continue to be the executive director and executive vice president of The Jockey Club.

Gagliano, president and COO of The Jockey Club said: “Carl’s leadership for TJCIS is exceptional. “Advances to our information services and the development of technology systems to meet the needs of the global market are a tribute to Carl’s deep understanding of the industry. Carl will continue to serve as an advisor to many key TJCIS initiatives through 2023.”
Hamilton joined TJCIS in 1990 as vice president of consulting. Previously, he owned Hamilton Software, a software consulting company that develops industry-leading farm management software packages and provides consulting services to Purebred related organizations. When TJCIS gained control in BloodHorse In 2015, Hamilton was appointed chairman.
Tim Leith was promoted to senior vice president of TJCIS this month. Leith will execute short- and long-term plans for the company, while continuing to oversee product development efforts within the company’s growth initiatives.
