Three people stabbed in incident near Liverpool Street station in central London | UK News



Three people were stabbed in an incident near Liverpool Street station in central London, police said.

City of London Police and London Ambulance Ambulance staff were both at the scene.

In a tweet, the City of London Police said it had received reports of three stabbings and one being pushed to the floor in Bishopsgate at 9.46am on Thursday.

The three victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A statement from the City of London Police said: “We received reports of three stabbings and one person being pushed to the floor on the Bis Bishopgate at 9.46am and officers arrived on the scene at 9:21am. morning minutes.

“Three victims were taken to a nearby hospital by LAS for treatment.

“This is an ongoing situation, but is not considered terrorism-related.”

Footage on social media shows several emergency service vehicles near the 22 Bis Bishopgate skyscraper.

Nickie Aiken MPs for the cities of London and Westminster tweeted her concern about the incident and said she was contacting City of London police for an update.
