THQ Nordic reveals event date for August digital rollout

With cancel E3 2022 finished last week, the summer of press conferences and game announcements that usually start in June is coming. However, THQ Nordic is confident in its plans and has revealed the date and time for its second annual digital rollout.

On August 12th, THQ Digital Showcase will showcase all new and upcoming games from Embracer Group-owned publisher. THQ Nordic released a video that you can watch above showcasing clips from its title team to bolster the announcement and reveal date. Most of the games featured in the video were featured in last year’s digital rollout, including Disqualified 2, Sawtooth Alliance 3and Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shakethough none of these are currently confirmed for the 2022 show.

The description from the video is all we have about the video’s content so far. Here’s what it says:

“Exactly which game or who will be the host is still a top secret, but you’ll get hints, as we get closer to that date. But you can expect everything from intense, dark and fierce to light, colorful and simply enjoyable! And if you sign up early, you might as well see what our friends from HandyGames are up to. Same process every year!”

With over four months’ notice, there’s no reason to miss THQ Nordic’s summer announcement series. The festival kicks off at 12PM Pacific on August 12. You can watch the show on YouTube, Twitch, and Steam. We’ll keep you updated on other events happening throughout the remainder of what was previously known as the E3 season.
