This supercar monster, with 1,1100 horsepower, runs on fuel made from plastic waste
The Italians certainly know how to make a speed demon but aside from Ferrari and Lamborghini there are some other very capable – albeit lesser known – players. Bertone is one of those companies that is quite famous as a manufacturer of passenger cars but is a super car with 1,100 horsepower? Say hello to GB110!
Bertone GB110 is a giant supercar with a capacity of 1,100 horsepower and maximum torque of 1,100 Nm. It also accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 2.79 seconds and takes 6.79 seconds to reach 200 km / h. Top speed is said to reach 380 km/h with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The two-seater also has an extremely aerodynamic body.
The exact details of the engine are yet to be revealed but what is interesting is that Bertone will provide fuel made from plastic waste for the GB110. To do this, the company has joined forces with Select Fuel, which has developed and patented technology that allows it to convert polycarbonate materials into renewable fuels.
