What’s in the Edge suite?
It includes three parts:
- Bracket attaches to your laptop or tablet
- The wireless charger attaches to the holder with a magnet for you to attach your smartphone to it
- a light
The idea is that it allows you to combine a smartphone with a laptop or tablet to allow the two to work together more efficiently. And the light is for those cases where you’re in front of the screen, but there’s not enough light for you.
Edge bracket
Mount is the key bit required to work with the other bits. This sticks to your laptop or tablet with super strong adhesive tape (with space if you damage it or want to move the mount to another device).
The holder attaches vertically to the device so that it can be rotated to the side to accommodate the wireless charger or the light.
At 4.5mm and 34g, the mount is small, light and non-obtrusive, which can slide out when not in use.
Initially, I was skeptical about the strength of the adhesive, but it really does stick. I attached mine to a polycarbonate visor that I fitted to MacBook Pro and within seconds it got stuck fast.
The Edge Wireless Charger
This is a 7.5W/10W/15W magnetic wireless charger compatible with iPhone MagSafe (iPhone 12″ or later), as well as iPhone 8 and later and all Android devices that support wireless charging. It draws power from a laptop or tablet using a USB-C cable.
If your smartphone isn’t a MagSafe-equipped iPhone, Rolling Square provides a magnetic ring that you can attach to the back of your smartphone to keep it in place.

Super strong N52 magnets are used to hold the smartphone in place.
Made of CNC aluminum, the Edge wireless charger is stylish and super practical.
Edge light
A lamp attaches a magnet to the Edge mount. It can be powered via USB-C and uses the built-in 140mAh rechargeable battery’s runtime for about 50 minutes, with a similar recharge time based on my testing.
Given the short run time, I recommend using this device connected to a USB-C port as much as possible because there’s no indicator to tell you how much battery life is left, so you may find yourself suddenly suddenly left in the dark.
It has three levels of brightness (up to 280 lumens, which is pretty bright) and uses powerful N52 magnets to attach to the mount.

Key point
If you are someone who spends a lot of time in front of your laptop and smartphone, then the Edge toolkit will be useful to you. Not only does it offer a better way to hold your smartphone so it’s facing you (much better than balancing it with a coffee mug), but the practicality of having a charger or Lights offer flexibility.
One thing I figured, though, is that if you really stick with your Edge, you might get a second stand, so you can use your smartphone and lights together (electricity). smartphone on one side, light on top).
The build quality is excellent, and this is a kit that will last you for years (remember to keep a second spare tape when you change your laptop so you can take the mount with you) .
