When I got the chance to try Whisker’s Robot littering 4 — a self-cleaning litter box — I’m all for it. Although expensive ($699), it solves cat owners’ daily problem of having to clean up their cats’ poop.

The Whisker app gives you detailed information about when your cat is in the box, when the cleaning cycle takes place and when the cleaning cycle is complete, as well as its complete history and average usage. cat. The app tells you how clean the trash is and how much waste there is. It took about a week and a half for the waste to reach 85%, which is when I dumped it. It’s easy to take out the trash liner and replace it with a new bag, and although the Litter-Robot 4 comes with a few trash bags, you’ll eventually have to buy more on Whisker’s website.

Even when the waste was almost 100%, I never smelled its poop, which was refreshing to say the least.

Is it worth it?

After use Robot littering 4I will never go back to a regular litter box. It gives me great insight into Norbert’s overall health and the daily cleaning makes it completely worth it. Just be patient with the setup process and work with your cat to learn a new routine. Norbert’s opinion was also in favor of the new litter box as he was able to make the switch quite seamlessly and had a clean litter box every time.
