This rumored iPhone 14 feature is confirmed to be on Android phones, here’s the time

There’s been a lot of talk around satellite connectivity since SpaceX and T-Mobile announced that they would bring satellite connectivity to phones in the United States. However, you need a phone that supports satellite connectivity. While Iphone can get it soon, Android Phones are confirmed to have this feature next year.
News from Hiroshi LockheimerSenior Vice President of Platforms & Ecosystems at Googlewho, in a recent tweet, recounted the days of 2008, when the first Android phone, the G1, was HTC Dreamhas been released. Lockheimer recall that it was a “time for 3G + WiFi to work” on the first Android phone. We’ve come a long way since then, and including Google.
In the same tweet, Lockheimer said, “we’re designing for satellites. Great! Happy to support our partners in enabling all of this in the next Android release! ” It should come as no surprise that the next version of Android is Android 14, coming next year, so one can expect satellite connectivity on Android smartphones next year.
Satellite connections mainly come in emergency situations when you are in a cell dead zone. Customers in the US can have a phone to take advantage of SpaceX and T-Mobile’s satellite connectivity when it launches next year. However, there are no telecom operators offering commercial satellite connectivity in India, so it may take some time before customers can experience it.
