This popular banned app is copying a feature from Instagram

Most downloaded apps TikTok ready to get a new feature. TikTok is developing a new Instagram-like feature called ‘Photo Mode’. Photo mode allows you to share static image posts that automatically show up one after another. You can add music to sound the image that viewers can scroll through at their own pace.
Along with that, the feature will also allow users to pair their videos and content made in Photo Mode with longer descriptions, up to 2,200 characters per post. “We know that there are all sorts of formats people use to express themselves on TikTok, and we’ll continue to build experiences that allow them to be creative in every way – from video to LIVE, photos, text, etc,” TikTok said in a statement.
New photo posts can also have music that will appear on the user’s ‘For You’ page alongside the video. TikTok believes that the expanded character count combined with Photo Mode will allow creators to express themselves in a better way.
A report by Mashable shows that many TikTok creators have already started using the feature. Creators are sharing recycled text memes and other content on the TikTok app, which is popular on its rival Instagram.
Recently, an online report suggested that short-form video app TikTok continues to dominate as the highest grossing non-game app worldwide on the App Store and Google Play combined. According to the report, TikTok saw about $914.4 million in consumer spending this quarter, bringing its total uptime to about $6.3 billion.
