The film was released in 431 theaters in the US on September 9, and the ban could adversely affect the film’s prospects, an event that is currently expected, according to director Joshua Newton.
“Every decent and sane human being on this planet should be wary of Meta-Facebook’s ban on promoting a Holocaust-related movie,” the report quoted Newton as saying. “Mark Zuckerberg has created an unattended monster. It’s something flagged by an algorithm. It’s another thing for Meta-Facebook employees to review the flag and uphold it, knowing full well that the title is not discriminatory and that the film is related to the Holocaust,” he added.
