This fitness app is competing with Peloton and I fully support cheaper alternatives
Workout app Fiit has launched new workouts that can be completed on indoor bikes including the Concept2 BikeErg and the Keizer M3i indoor bike. This comes after interactive rowing and treadmill workouts were added to the app earlier this year.
The addition of these combo workouts, which can be done at home or in the gym, means Fiit could help Peloton cash in – with Fiit’s subscription set at £9.99 a month , which is £30 ($33) a month cheaper than Peloton’s. Fiit subscribers can use any bike for these workouts, but if you want to record your workouts, connect to the Concept2 BikeErg or the Keizer M3i indoor bike, whether you Whether you’re at home or in the gym, that means you’ll be able to enjoy a more interactive workout and record stats like RPM, calories, and distance traveled.
Combination exercise is becoming more popular as people realize that they don’t need to be limited to just working out at home or in the gym. Fiit’s 11 cycling workouts allow Fiit members to also work out at the gym when they want to change up their exercise routine.
Fiit will also be launching more cycling workouts on December 12th, along with the Bicycle Academy – a two-week indoor cycling class that will give novice cyclists a chance to get up to speed first. their opponents.
In March, the company launched the Fiit Tread, which once again competes with Peloton’s treadmill offerings — and like cycling workouts, interactive classes can be done on any machine. manual or electric, although members will need to run on AssaultRunner to experience a fully connected experience with the Fiit Tracker.
Fiit has demonstrated its commitment to compound workouts by partnering with Gym Group in 2020 and now offers its members access to Fiit Pods in the company’s gym, allowing they do these exercises on the big screen.
Could this be a big step for Fiit?
Let’s be real: Peloton’s app is expensive – especially when you’ve already paid for an expensive bike or treadmill, and then you have to pay £39.99 / $44 / AU$59 more for the tracks their episode every month. I love my Peloton bike and its on-demand workouts keep me motivated, but that costs me almost £500 a year – and I haven’t even stepped out of my apartment.
That’s why I’ve always loved the Fiit app, it’s cheap, has great workouts, and the company is constantly innovating – they know that not everyone wants to just work out in their home. And with the fitness industry evolving as fast as it is today, companies that can stay two steps ahead of their competitors and spot future trends first will continue to succeed.
Fiit isn’t new to the industry — it launched in 2017 with hundreds of live and on-demand workouts that primarily include HIIT, strength, and yoga workouts. As gyms closed and home workouts became the norm, the app became a favorite with fitness enthusiasts.
Many of us have adapted to hybrid working, and there’s no reason why we can’t do the same with our workouts. I love working from home, but it’s also great to get out of the house and interact with people – not necessarily one or the other, and it’s good to see Fiit adopt that philosophy.
