Having a small laptop like this is so much fun and I highly recommend it. I started writing and programming with a similar but worse Compaq model than it was then, slowly losing the plastic frame in the harsh desert landscape of Santa Fe, New Mexico. It can run basic Python programs, access the internet, and play Game Boy Advance games, though, so I’m delighted. And because it’s so cheap, I feel comfortable using it to install a new hard drive and add more RAM – all a good experience for my last job as a dedicated geek. Karma.
